Director and Owner: Nicholas Sunderland

Nick Sunderland is a graphic and interior designer with over 30 years experience, and has worked with some of the most prominent people in the World. Starting his career at a creative agency in central London which housed the BMW account he moved to CBS records (Sony Music) designing and creating photo shoots for leading artistes of the day.

Headhunted by Wunderman Worldwide he set up creative departments and was invited with his Directorship to be part of the team designing and developing the expansion of offices across greater London House. This was followed by a similar project when he moved to the Rapp Collins Group and a suite of offices in Marylebone was his personal project as Director within the group.

A move into the publishing world as General Manager for a PLC developing Lifestyle magazines across a range of subjects allowed his Interior design knowledge and expertise to bring a new style to the attention of the readers. At this stage in 1992 he was introduced to feng shui by Master Lam Kam Chuen, and his learning started with a passion. Additionally trained by Raymond Lo, Lillian Too, Joey Yap, and other leaders in their field here in the UK he continues to learn with a true hunger for the knowledge.

His private commissions take him to New York, Dubai and Pakistan where he has also lectured on his particular style of feng shui fused with interior design. Luxury homes in Dubai, Manhattan apartments and a series of London properties and Barristers chambers are just a small part of his experience. Clients include Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and the President of Pakistan and his work in Temple prompted Gilbert and George to exclaim the rooms were 'stunning'.

Here in the UK he has lectured at Canterbury University to Business leaders about his concept on home and office design using feng shui and has been invited back every year. Nick has also been Interviewed live for ITN, LBC, BBC news 24 and Sky news as well as interviewed by the Daily Express, Daily Mail, Evening Standard, local and international press, received a 6 page feature in Real homes magazine, Italian Vogue, Metropolist and Highlife magazine with book contributions for Dorling Kindersley. Nick recently featured in a documentary for Channel 4 on an innovative property development which has never been attempted by any one since and continues to be repeated on TV.

Nicks background in advertising and publishing, its commercial requirements and strict budgeting have influenced the philosophy in his work that nothing is impossible. If it doesn't exist create it, if it cant be bought make it, and in every case, a budget is to be adhered to. It doesn't matter who or what the project is, it receives his full attention to detail, and adapts his design with the client as the projects develop allowing a rare flexibility.
