Hello, I'm Nick Sunderland and this is my website...

I am a graphic and interior designer with over 35 years experience, and have worked with some of the most prominent people in the World. Starting my career at a creative agency in central London which housed the BMW account I moved to CBS records (Sony Music) designing and creating photo shoots for leading artistes of the day.

Headhunted by Wunderman Worldwide I set up creative departments and was invited, with a Directorship, to be part of the team designing and developing the expansion of offices across greater London House. This was followed by a similar project when I moved to the Rapp Collins Group and a suite of offices in Marylebone was my personal project as Director within the group.

A move into the publishing world as General Manager for a PLC developing Lifestyle magazines across a range of subjects allowed my Interior design knowledge and expertise to bring a new style to the attention of the readers. It was here in the 1990s that my knowledge of feng shui began to develop and be incorporated not only into my lifestyle but also my designs. I was able to be involved and influence the development of Feng Shui For Modern Living, the first and only interior design magazine using feng shui in the world.

My private commissions take me to New York, Dubai and Pakistan where I have also lectured on this particular style of interior design. Luxury homes in Dubai, Manhattan apartments and a series of London properties and Barristers chambers are just a small part of my experience. Clients include Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and the President of Pakistan and my work in Temple prompted the Artists Gilbert and George to exclaim the rooms were 'stunning'. Barristers chambers have particularly benefited from the use of feng shui with dramatic increase in revenue with a dramatic drop in stress!

Here in the UK I have lectured at Canterbury University to Business leaders about the art of feng shui and its influence on home and office design and I have been invited back every year. I have also been Interviewed live for ITN, LBC, BBC news 24 and Sky news as well as interviewed by the Daily Express, Daily Mail, Evening Standard, local and international press, received a 6 page feature in Real homes magazine, Italian Vogue, Metropolist and Highlife magazine with book contributions for Dorling Kindersley. I recently featured in a documentary for Channel 4 on an innovative property development and the feng shui of this which has never been attempted by any one since and continues to be repeated on TV.

My background in advertising and publishing, its commercial requirements and strict budgeting have influenced the philosophy in my work that nothing is impossible. If it doesn't exist create it, if it cant be bought make it, and in every case, a budget is to be adhered to. It doesn't matter who or what the project is, it receives his full attention to detail, and adapts his design with the client as the projects develop allowing a rare flexibility.
