Who We Are

What the Tool Does With Your Input

• Analysis inputs: the direction, city, floor, and year you enter are stored so your report can be shared via its link. They are referenced by a random UUID, not linked to your identity, and are used for nothing except generating your report.
• We never ask for your name, email, or payment to use the free tool, and we never sell your data.

Server Logs

Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, request time, URL, browser type, referrer) for security and operations, such as rate limiting. Logs are kept for up to 30 days and are not used to profile you.

Analytics Cookies, Only With Your Consent

We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate country, device, referrer, and, in Clarity, session recordings and heatmaps. These tools set cookies and similar identifiers (such as _ga and _clck) that recognize your browser.

Nothing is switched on until you decide. On your first visit a banner asks you to accept or reject analytics cookies. If you reject, no analytics cookies are set and both tools stay in their reduced, cookieless mode. Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage, which is strictly necessary to remember the decision itself. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Some product links on this site are affiliate links to Amazon. If you click one, Amazon receives standard technical data (cookies, referrer) under Amazon's own privacy policy, which also handles consent on Amazon's pages. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases; this costs you nothing extra.

Third Parties and International Transfers

If you accept analytics, data is processed by Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity) in the United States. Transfers from the EEA and UK rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not embed advertising networks.

How Long Data Is Kept

• Server logs: up to 30 days.
• Report inputs (UUID records): kept until you ask us to delete the report link. There is no automatic expiry, so deletion works on request.
• Google Analytics data: at most 14 months. Clarity data: under Microsoft's retention policy for Clarity.
• Your consent choice: until you clear site data.

Your Rights

If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, you can ask to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie Settings" or by clearing site data. Reports are referenced only by a random link; if you have a report link you wish to remove, contact us and we will delete it. Because we have no accounts, we may ask for the approximate time of your visit and your IP address to locate any data about you. Send requests to hello@cyberfengshui.com and we will respond within 30 days. If we cannot locate data about you, we will tell you so.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to This Policy

Updates are posted here with a new date. As we add features, this policy will be updated, and we will keep it in plain language.
